Moschino Milan Fashion Week

The spirit of Franco Moschino was well and truly present in Milan Fashion Week on Thursday the 26th Feb last for the launch of their Women’s fall winter 2015 line presented by Moschino’s American Creative Director Jeremy Scott. A packed industrial tunnel for one hour was home to five hundred people, the proud recipients of a Moschino goody bag – containing the omnipresent “Not a Moschino” Teddy Bear.

Scott, known for his cultural imagery tonight set out to pay tribute to Hip Hop bling, graffiti, denim and Loony Tunes Cartoons. Par for the course for the man who produced a line last year referring to the impact of the McDonalds brand and his 2012 1990s homage to The Simpsons cartoons and pixelated computer games.

Pre show, a giant twenty meter Hip Hop ghetto blaster fed out minimal glitch techno while wavy synth pop music built the suspense and then at 9pm local time, Moschino Milan Fashion Week was on.
